We are delighted to partner with Joy Road to provide an exceptional al fresco dining experience under the cherry trees at the private residence of Bella in Naramata, BC.
Joy Road thoroughly embodies “cuisine du terroir” through owners Cam Smith and Dana Ewart, along with Team JRC. Their commitment to using primarily local ingredients to showcase the Okanagan bounty at the height of ripeness, and thus sustaining the farmers and artisans who represent the agricultural heritage of this area, perfectly aligns with the way of life Jay and Wendy cultivate at their Bella homestead.
This intimate dinner of thirty-six guests will begin with a glass of Bella bubble and canapes as we mill under the fruit trees and get to know each other. Then Jay and Team JRC will guide you through a five course meal comprised of local ingredients with each course paired with a Bella sparkling wine. An all sparkling wine winemakers dinner – surely a unique dining experience offered by no other winery in BC.
We look forward to you joining us at our rustic homestead. Contact us for details and tickets at jay [at] bellawines.ca.
Price: $140 (includes GST)

Summerdine is an annual event put on by Les Dames d’Escoffier, British Columbia Chapter, to raise funds for their Scholarship Program which grants scholarships to women with a desire to begin training in culinary, beverage or hospitality fields, and to women already skilled in these fields who seek to refine or further their expertise at an educational institution/course of their choice. For Summerdine dozens of restaurants, vineyards, gardens and cooking schools, from Vancouver Island to Metro Vancouver to the Okanagan, each donate one table for a concurrent dinner party. Each restaurant is priced exactly the same ($79/seat), with each restaurant donating the food menu and table and a winery donating the wine.
Through owners Jay Drysdale and Wendy Rose, Bella is excited to not only donate the wine but also provide the food menu and table for a Summerdine al fresco dinging experience at the private residence of Bella on August 16th. This is a unique opportunity to have not only the wine but food prepared by the winemaker with all funds going to the Les Dames D’Escoffier Scholarship Program.
