2023 Black Pine Pinot Noir Traditional Method Rosé
Black Pine Vineyards is located at the very end of the Naramata Bench and this is the last vintage we will be working with this site. Made in the traditional method (side note: there are not that many BC 100% sparkling pinots out there!), this elegant, nuanced bubble has delicate mandarin blossoms on the nose and the palate sings of Bing cherries with a complex cinnamon finish.

BLACK PINE VINEYARDS: Located at the northern end of Naramata Village, Black Pine vineyards grows four clones of Pinot Noir: Pommard (known for intensity of fruit), Clone 115 (one of the first official clones in France released in 1971 and appreciated for perfume and structure), Clone 667 (known for aromatic and tannic finesse) and and Clone 777 (offering a combination of power and finesse); and a small plot of Chardonnay. We are beyond thrilled to work with their fruit lovingly grown and organically (not certified) tended by Kathi and Rick. Together, we are learning and teasing out the personalities of Pinot, in a bubble format. We worked with Black Pine fruit for three vintages: 2021 - 2023, inclusive.
