2023 Buddha's Blend Rosé - 750ml
Buddha’s Blend (aka “B2” and named after our bulldog) has become the rosé introduction to our winery. B2 is composed of lees juice from chardonnay and gamay pressings. In 2023, it has a lighter hue than normal as it is more chard than gamay and we didn’t want to keep it on the lees for too long this year.
Fun and playful, just like our bulldog, this is your pink, summer-sipper, “go-go” juice. With a pale pink hue, this bubble has a candied apple nose, with tart strawberry-apple and white grapefruit pith on the palate and a buttered popcorn finish. Perfect for movie night and popcorn!

DRINK BEFORE 2025 - you’ll notice that for the 2023 vintage wines we’ve put “drink before 2025” on the labels. This is a vintage we do not want you to cellar. Right now, the wines are tasting brilliantly but with that much smoke around during ripening and harvest last year you never know when taint can present itself. We found with the 2021 vintage (our last smoky vintage), mild smoke taint didn’t present until 18 months after we disgorged it (and in only 2 of the 20 different bubbles we made that vintage). We’d rather be cautious so we’re requesting to please drink the 2023 vintage this year.
